We are not a regular group where you submit any deviation from your gallery
How The Group Works~Updated 11-23-13
. Only members who are the Picks Of The Week
as chosen by the judges for the ending 2 week period may submit a deviation from their gallery to be featured in the group's slide show. You are expected to participate in the group.
It doesn't have to be every week, but enough to be visible. You are expected to use any theme or style of your choice with the available stock photos.
Our challenge themes and styles are now open.
However, NO overly gruesome, or overly bloody
deviations. This, of course, is still up to my discretion. And Absolutely NO horror or macabre, and anything Showing Harm To A Child.
I will not accept these deviations! I have reasons for this, I don't have to tell you, and I don't want to have anyone try to change my mind. The rules about mild nudity stays the same.
I make the decision to accept the deviation or not. Your entries will receive comments
but your deviations will always be accepted. Follow the new rules about "cut outs", and mixing "photo stock with 3D renders".
Your deviation will still be checked for cut outs that are not from a reputable source, or mixing renders with photo stock. I will not accept your deviation for one or both of these reasons. Every two weeks, I will look for submitted deviations that are ready to be presented to the judges.
Your deviations will still be judged with your own level. If there are not enough entries to judge in any level, the deviation will have to wait until the next judging period. Prizes and features will still be awarded to the "Picks Of The Week"
We will still have our "Wednesday Theme"
feature, our "Monthly Affiliate Stock"
feature, and I will still write a "Stuff You Need To Know"
when I have stuff to share.
When creating a deviation for the group, please be creative.
This is very important. Still, be careful. Whenever you do something "extremely" different, you can confuse the judges. Please READ the EXPECTATIONS below CAREFULLY!!
They will be the same, unless it's adjusted for seasonal changes and holidays.
Got questions? Don't hesitate to make a comment below this blog, or write a note to the group.
