HUGE HOLIDAY STOCK FEATURE!!!!!!!! (Hm. Did I put enough exclamation marks?) Oh well, good enough. This has got to be the most epic feature I've done yet! : D I hope you all enjoy; this will be up until the end of December.

So here are the coolest and most fun holiday stock resources I could find--anything you could ever need for your yuletide creations! From funny to traditional, to religious, it's all here! DD Feature, A Word About Pre-Cuts, and SkypeHiya Darlings,
So here is the promised feature of our group members who have received a DD so far this year! I’d like to say congratulations to everyone! For those who haven’t received one yet, don’t give up hope! Everyone submits some fantastic stock and I absolutely love seeing the daily submissions. I’d also like to take a moment and welcome all of our new members!
Before we get to the feature I want to take a moment and talk about Pre-Cut Stocks. Like any stock, they should adhere to our group and

rules. This means:

They must be your own work, or have written permission from the photographer to create them from.

You absolutely, under no circumstances, ever take photos from GOOGLE IMAGE or other online retail, blogs, photography, or other websites to create pre-cut stock. The same includes stock websites like sxc.hu. This also applies to ALL pre-made backgrounds or Photoshop/GIMP brushes!

Fantastic Stock and Where to Find It - Feature 23I've been making a collection of some of the brilliant stock artists
works that I have come across. It started off as stock I can't provide
myself so I look for other peoples so I can suggest them. The way I
choose is quite odd, when I see a stock image I have an instant image in
my head of what I could do or create out of that piece of stock. The
image also has to be crystal clear and easily altered.

How did you originally get into stock?
I have been a digital artist and award winning web designer for nearly 10 years and became increasingly tired of paying the inflating fees at microstock sites such as iStockphoto, so I decided I'd try using my own images in my client work. I received a lot of great feedback from clients so after a few months I became completely self reliant on my own image bank for client work. It was highly rewarding to know that a design I created relied 100% on me from coding to photography!
I had not even heard of deviantART until 5 years ago. I then signed up on an account that has since been deactivated. During my 2 years of mainta

May Feature: ChildrenI've been featuring mothers for the past two weeks. I felt like I was starting to struggle to find deviations so this week I thought I'd feature something near and dear to the mothers' hearts: children. In a couple of weeks I'll also be doing features for Father's Day.

I love suggesting these. I know how good it makes me feel, so to know someone else feels that way for a day is pretty special.
There have been MANY more suggestions, for sure. There is at least one other DD coming later this month,
but I can't talk about that!

2011 TRFN top 50 deviations and deviants list.Happy New Year and welcome to the 2011 edition of the TRFN top 50 deviations of the year. This will be the 3rd edition of this feature.
As a new year begins, #The-Railfan-Nation has grown rapidly in the past year by 511 members. This means that out of the 976 current listed members each deviant has a 5% mathematical chance of making this feature. Thus if you have made this feature earning any spot from 1 to 50 is a very difficult accomplishment that you have accomplished. Just anything will not make it in this feature all images in this feature made it in because of impressive stats. These deviations all collected these stats for a reason. Many of them reached outside the railfan community and drew interest from non-railfans as well. My standards for this list as always will be listed below.
The process was hard fought as I started on the 17th with work on this list. This time I was alone so I personally scouted out all 976 galleries. Due to obvious time constraints I have also ann
